The following is a chat transcript of an interview of Bret Hart taken from a Talk show in Australia.

Rove: Would you consider yourself a smaller wrestler?

Bret Hart: I’m the middle guy, umm... not too big and... not too small.

Rove: Wrestling was in your blood from a young age, right?

Bret Hart: Oh yeah.

Rove: Were you pushed into this profession?

Bret Hart: Not really, I mean I was a wrestling fan since I was a kid... then when I was about 16 I said I would never get into wrestling but when I was about 20 I did get into wrestling. One reason why I got in to wrestling was to travel.

Rove: Where are your favorite places to visit around the world?

Bret Hart: I really liked everywhere I went. I mean... I liked Europe, I really liked Germany, my greatest fans were in Germany. I liked South Africa. There were some things I liked about India and some things I didn’t really like about India.

Rove: Would you think wrestling is a thing that you love or hate?

Bret Hart: Yeah you get some people who swear that they don’t like wrestling but they know a lot about it.

Rove: How much skill does it take to do a move with out hurting them?

Bret Hart: Well there is a fine line there. It depends on the move and the wrestler. One reason I call myself the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be is because I have the best safety record. I have wrestled for 23 years and I didn’t hurt one wrestler. I did chip Vader's tooth once.

Rove: Who do you think is a crappy wrestler?

Bret Hart: Mongo McMicheals, he should have stayed in football. I would have hated to wrestle him.

Rove: Did you ever got hurt in the ring?

Bret Hart: Yeah I worked with Bill Goldberg and he kicked me in the side of the head and this is the reason why I’m retired.

Rove: What is your role going to be in the upcoming tour (W. W. A Event)?

Bret Hart: I didn’t want anyone to think I’m wrestling or refereeing so I’m kind of going to be the commissioner.

Rove: Are you "going to be a bad guy or a good guy"?

Bret Hart: I’m going to be in the middle, kind of good and kind of bad.
